WELCOME TO BATTLE ROYALE
We are very excited to be opening this year’s MFDF festival dome with a spectacular two night Secret Supper Event on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th September.
Our Secret Supper event series has been gaining national acclaim for taking its immersive dining experiences to the next level.
In the most ambitious project to date, the Visual Architects will be transforming the Dining Dome in the heart of the festival hub to create an incredible background for the evening.
The experience will be based around the Japanese Cult Classic film Battle Royale. Released in 2000 it tells the story of 42 ninth grade students forced to fight to the death by the Japanese government under the ‘Battle Royale’ act. The film was a pre-cursor to the hugely successful Hunger Games series.
Hosted by Sensei Kitano the unique 6 course menu has been created by our Head Chef Joe Grant and will begin with a glass of Prosecco on arrival.
Awesome things you need to do this April – Cottonopolis Food & Liquor in Manchester have been hosting a series of secret supper clubs for the past few months, but their April event might be the best one yet. It might set you back £65, but it’s more than worth the dent in your bank balance. – Heat Magazine
The stunning six-course menu will sit against this backdrop made by the Visual Architects at Cottonopolis. The imaginative food and drink menu will ensure a fully unique and immersive night like no other in the city.- Manchester’s Finest
Whilst the focus of the evening is on the food, there will also be live actors appearing throughout the night – turning fantasy fiction into reality. – Manchester Evening News
‘unique and innovative concept, with their own immersive theme’ – Taste of Manchester
Tickets are very limited and priced at £65 and will include a glass of Prosecco on arrival and a 6 course menu. Get your tickets here: MFDF
