Vegan Kitchen Takeover with Million Dollar Menu’s Jay Morjaria

Acclaimed Vegetarian Chef Jay Morjaria will return on Monday 30th July for our next Vegan Kitchen takeover.

The menu will focus on Nikkei cuisine – Peruvian food with a heavy Japanese influence created when thousands of Japanese workers emigrated to the country over 100 years ago which has since lead to Peru having the second largest Japanese population in South America.

Jay is the founder and Executive Chef of Sutra Kitchen, a meat free cooking school in London as well as the Dynasty dining club. He has also recently appeared on the BBC’s million dollar menu.

As a passionate vegan, he will bring an unmistakable style developed during his travels throughout Asia to Cottonopolis. He believes plant based food can be inspiring and loves the challenge of changing people’s perceptions.

Working alongside our Head Chef Joe Grant, Jay has created a stunning eight course tasting menu including Red Pepper & Coriander Temaki, Stuffed Padron Antichuchos, Sweet Potato Miso Dengaku and a Chocolate & Avocado Mousse.
